Love of the Craft
I started Nelms Designs and the In The Bag brand in 2020 during the pandemic. I was working from home and needed to fulfill some creative needs. So I began watching some amazing bag makers on YouTube and decided to give it a try. I am very fortunate that I found I had a knack for sewing handbags. I enjoy the flow state of mind when I sew and it brings me so much joy to create something just for you. I like taking the time to get to know my customers and their likes and dislikes. I work hard to create something just for you or your loved one. It brings me joy and fulfills my creativity meter.

I highly encourage my customers to be creative, think outside the box, and really hone in on what they want through video chats. We will talk through patterns, fabrics, and hardware options to ensure you are getting the custom handbags you desire and deserve.
Bag Hardware
One of the things I will always encourage it for others to be creative bag makers too. I have a good selection of 1" bag making supplies in different finishes for you to be able to create your own custom handbags for your business or loved ones.
